| Hmmm.... this is annoying. I have a friends who has english parents but he was born here and has lived here his whole life without visiting England. Yet, he is a British citizen, meaning he has all rights of someone who is English. If he goes over to England he needs no passport or no workers visa, yet I do. His parents leave their country and no longer contribute anything culturally or economically and they repay them with giving their family these privelages. Totally unfair, getting a workers visa will be a pain in the arse. |
i absolutely agree with that, i have a friend in a similar position. how can that be fair to the rest of the people? i have no problem with people wanting to change their citizenship but i dont think its fair that you can hang onto your old citizenship. i reckon u should only be allowed to be a citizen to one country, and a visiter to whatever country you want. |
Being from the land of flying shit (America as you may call it) I know all too well about a goverment being hated and despised, this woman was a human being and deserved to be rescued. At the expense of a country she left long ago? No. But still she should have been saved. (btw was she, i have no idea) |
